You're totally pushing my buttons AND I LIKE IT!! I've added three cool new buttons that make the blog experience even more fun and interactive. They're right above the comments box and here's what they do:
The first button is for anyone with a facebook page. Click the facbook button to automatically add a link to the blog post your looking at to your facebook page. Super easy and fun.
The second button is for all you Twitter users out there. Click the Twitter button to automatically share a link to the blog post your looking at on your Twitter account. Way cool!!! (FYI the preceeding sentence is way over 140 characters ;-)
And last but not least, the RSS subscribe button. Clicking it allows you to add this blog to your RSS feed reader…check it out. If you haven't set up your own RSS feed reader yet you can learn more about it here.
Try one button or try 'em all!! Enjoy ;-) |

Have you ever met one those people that's just the right amount of sass vs. the right amount of sweet? Someone that's the perfect combination of wise ass and cream puff. That's the perfect description of my friend Lauren who I affectionately called "Teen" up until last week when she had her first post teen birthday!! Happy Birthday Lauren!! Now that she's officially out of her teen years I've given her a new nickname - "Young Ms". Sounds totally hip-hop doesn't it? Anyone who's someone in my world gets an official Corsentino nickname. Have you gotten yours? ;-)
We had a ton of fun shooting these portraits a few weeks ago in downtown Petaluma. Here are my Artist Edit's and Signature Panoramics (Panos) from the session.

How would you like to watch TV with a total pain in the a**? Well that's me when it comes to TV! The thing is, when the TV or a movie is on, I always keep a camera handy to grab all the inspiring processing styles, poses & rockin' compositions that flash by. This definitely makes watching TV with me a pain in the a**, 'cause I'm always like "oh wait, let me grab that, that's so cool!!!" over and over again.
It's so inspiring and cool that all this amazing work is right there on the TV, piped directly into my home, ready to teach me, inform my vision and make me a better photographer and conceptualizer.
You can learn so much about the visual language of images by watching television and films, perusing cool magazines and of course blog stalking your faves out there. Google image searches are another awesome resource. I've got folders and folders of images that I've found online that totally blow me away and make me want to go out and create my own amazing images.
I also carry my camera with me where ever I go and end up photographing all sorts of wall posters, graphic elements and cool locations that I find. Some of which end up being used for shoots later.
I post all these shots of the TV, torn out magazine pages, cool images found online and those from my travels on a big inspiration board right next to my desk. In addition to this I pin up thank you cards, my own personal snaps and whatever else makes me feel good and gets my creative juices flowing. So when I need a creative jolt all I have to is turn around.
Inspiration is right in front of you. I never thought I'd say this but go grab your camera and "watch tv"!! ;-) Here are a couple of awesome frames from a Maybelline ad I saw this morning. Can't wait to do something like this! |
