One of the things I love most about being a photographer is having the opportunity to meet, and in many cases become friends with, so many amazing and cool people. One wedding often leads to another and then another from the same circle of relatives and friends. Chances are you'll start to see some of the same folks from the last wedding at each new wedding. I love that!
That's how I met Kristen and Josh, first while I was shooting Katie & Brian's wedding and then again at Gina & Brian's wedding. I remember being struck each time by how fun and in love they both were, very sweet. Kristen told me they were talking about marriage and wanted me to be their photographer once it was official. Needless to say I was stoked when they called and said it was time to schedule their engagement session!!
We had a great time during their San Francisco shoot and I can't wait for their wedding. See you guys soon!! ;-)

You've seen the sneak peek, now see the rest of Meghan & Mark's engagement session Artist Edit's & Panos.
Being from Petaluma & an outdoors girl, Meghan knows all the cool nature spots here in Petaluma. She suggested we shoot their pictures at Helen Putnam Regional Park. This town has so many hidden gems, it's unreal. The park is about 3 miles from my studio and I had no idea it was even there!! Man was I in for a pleasant surprise!! This has to be one of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen. The best part - it's right in my backyard. I'll definitely be back there for more shoots and fun with the dog.
This sweet, camera shy couple is not only about to begin their journey through life together but they're also moving this month to King Salmon, Alaska to continue their work in the wilderness fields.
